Digital and agent-entered offers can use the same sale record

Digital and agent-entered offers can use the same sale record

Adding an online offer route does not mean closing the phone, email or face-to-face routes agents already use. It gives buyers another way to act and gives the agent one record of the activity around the sale.

Two channels, one ledger

An agent can continue to receive an offer directly and enter it into Beagel. A buyer can also submit an offer through an approved website or portal journey. Both routes can feed the same sale record, subject to the same permissions and agent control.

What stays with the agent

  • Qualifying the buyer.
  • Advising the seller.
  • Deciding how negotiations progress.
  • Managing disclosures and acceptance.
  • Handling exceptions and personal communication.

What the digital route adds

  • A way for buyers to register and act outside office hours.
  • Structured offer details and timestamps.
  • Status and outbid notifications where configured.
  • A record that can include both buyer-entered and agent-entered offers.

Buyers are not forced online

The deployment can support represented and unrepresented buyers, buyer's agents and offers received through other approved systems. The digital route adds choice; it does not prescribe one way to conduct every sale.

The point is straightforward: keep the routes that work and record the relevant activity together.
